A GOURMET IN THE TOOLSHED

A short film that demonstrates how to use non-domestic equipment (i.e. tools) to prepare a classic recipe. Part performance art, part spoof TV cookery show and part 'how-to' video. The film pairs familiar activities with similarly familiar implements to humorous effect. The result is a delicious combination of normally separate but often similar crafts.

The recipe is cooked as accurately as possible and every effort is made to ensure the final dish is appetising and edible. Each process in the preparation of the dish is carried out with a tool that does the job effectively albeit unconventionally.
